There are time when a good nights sleep is all that is needed.
After the interviews with the different heads of departments
The meetings that lasted almost 24 hours and the realisation
that the fixing of the current state of affairs is likely to take
three (3) or four (4) full terms in office just to begin to get
things right.
The first place that has to start is in the hearts
and minds of all the people of the world. Global economic
melt down means global economic down turn means global
help wanted, but there is no money because all the paper
that was driving the economy was just that paper.

Yes it has been a long ten days. As the novelty begins to ware off the reality of the situation is begining to hit home. NO QUICK FIX! the current times are the result of the boom and bust cycle how far and how fast the bottom will be hit can only be guessed at.
Will the final chapter on Roswell be written?
Is area 51 proving ground?
How much is the government of this country still paying for the second world war?
Spending cuts and who gets cut for the sake of whom?

It has just dawned on me. Martin Luther King and various others all shot for what they belive in. Was it a laps in the security? Was it the lone gun man?
I hate to think that such a laps could even begin to happen again. Let alone get as far as the others have done, but the right to bear arms is written in to the constitution with out it the world would be a sadder place. It is a freedom that blood was shed to protect. What will happen next only time will tell.

Today it happened. Yes today The United Sates of America can truly say ” We the people hole these truths to be self evident that all men are created equal. “ From the back of the bus to the White House. From Watts to Welcome in to the White House Mr President. From the war of Independence to the War for Hearts and Minds. From going in through the back or side entrance to going in through the front door. Today it happened. A black man has become the 44th President of the US of A. A black man now has his hand on the nuclear button. A black man can say yes or no to troops in Iraq. The question now is can a black man become prime minister? Ask Sir Trevor McDonald would he like a new job in London? It is in a prime location has its own house hot and cold running ministers. Only time and history will tell.

The web site that the above posts was on came back at 01:00 hrs London time. I was told to take this page down
because it was making my web site run over the limit and resulting in the site being taken off line. So I got my self another site to put it on and will see what happens this time.
Alistair Cook used to broadcast a radio program for the BBC called “Letter From America” as yet on one has replaced or even come close to replacing him.
May be a letter to America on a serious job well begun, with the first steps are the hardest to master.
President Obama has carried out what needed to be done. I just hope that the rest of the country is in this
for the long haul.
